14 Ways Valentine’s Can Grow Your Business
January 20, 2014

Valentine’s day is coming closer and I can literally not even wait!  “Why?” You ask.

  • “Is it because you can’t wait to see how your loving husband is going to shower you with his affection?”  A little bit.
  • “Is it because you can’t wait to shower the love of your life with the love he deserves?” Sorta

“Then why, Kim, why do you love Valentine’s Day so much?”  You ask.

Okay, well if you have to twist my arm, I’ll tell you.  I LOVE to watch how everyone else in the world chooses to proclaim their love.  It’s the best! (especially when I taught high schoolers Ha!)

If you ask me, Valentine’s day is a day when we all are marketing without even knowing it.

We are either selling ourselves on why someone should love us.  (On our first V-day, my husband, before we became an official couple, showed up on my doorstep serenading me while hold the key to his heart.  How cute is he!?!)

OR, we want to market to the world, “Hand’s off!  He/she is mine so keep walking!”

OR, sometimes, we even use V-day to market to the world that although we are single, it doesn’t mean we aren’t happy and don’t love ourselves!  (Can I get an AMEN single friends!?!)

Marketing, marketing, marketing!  V-day is just a day of marketing!  So, surely this is a great time to market our businesses as well. Have you been brainstorming ideas of how to use it get your business ahead?  If not, don’t give yourself a headache trying to come up with a plan.  I’ve taken some more traditional Valentine gestures (don’t worry, no red roses and chocolates) and given them a twist to fit your business needs.
