Finally...Create Less Blog Content and Gain More Followers

3 simple ways to do way less, maintain quality, & get more done
Ummm…. writing blog content kinda stinks…

I love you, my faithful dream catching friend, and I want to give you what you need to succeed, but like for real, I’d rather listen to my kid’s tattle on each other on a 4-hour road trip then sit down and write blog content all day.

It’s just not my favorite thing in the world to do!  Do you feel me on this one?  If so… this one is just for you.  Find out how to get away with creating less content and gaining more followers. (Can I get a whoop, whoop!?!)

Reduce: to make smaller or less in amount, degree, or size

The best way to reduce your content in a helpful way is to “splinter” it down.

Splinter: to take a piece off of a larger whole

If you think of a tree, you know that a splinter is a small portion of that tree that’s just enough to make a big impact on you if you step on it.

You can do the same with your content.  If you have a great blog posting that’s doing really well, try breaking it off and turning it into new content.  It’s easy, simple, and quick!

How-To-Tip: Use one of your great list-postings (example: 5 Fab Finds I Couldn’t Live Without in My Online Business) and take one listing to expound upon.  Kinda like I did with this one! 😉

“Your posting on social platforms should not be just a one and done.”

Reuse: to use again or more than once.

You’ll never know how much music it was to my ears to find out that I was SUPPOSED to keep using my content.

Here’s what I mean…

In my Digital Marketing business, one of my main services is social media management.  I literally develop, schedule out and monitor social media postings.  The thing you have to realize is each posting only has a small percent of followers that see them.

That means, most of your followers have never even saw what you posted.  Listen girlfriend, you put too much time, energy and effort into your work, for that many people not to ever see it.  Your posting on social platforms should not be just a one and done.  Recycling is essential!

How-To-Tip: Create a posting schedule that reuses content at least once per month starting out.  That means if you post twice per day, you’ll need at least 30 postings.   As you build your content library, you can space things out and it will become much easier.

Recycle: to convert into reusable material.

Did you create an blog that loads of people were excited about?  Good news, you’ve found a great topic to recycle!  Try readdressing the exact same topic using a different platform

If you wrote about it, this time try it out on camera or even via podcast.  Sometimes a follower that doesn’t prefer to read would love to watch or hear you voice.  It’s  a great way to gain more feedback and followers on other platforms.

How-To-Tip: Platforms like Youtube, Instagram, and Facebook make it super duper easy to produce content and can be saved and later uploaded onto your blog.

Here’s an example of a popular Facebook live that I turned into a blog posting- How to Design Your Own Professional Graphics in 10 Minutes for  F-R-E-E

It’s that easy Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle your way into creating less content and more fans.

Comment below: Do you Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle your content?  I know I personally love how it takes the pressure off of creating content ideas and gives readers a more clear understanding of existing content.

As always, I will be praying for you as you keep building your content for your dream and ask that you pray for me.  Until next time…

Be blessed and be a blessing!
